FUNDRAISING!!! To be real, those few check marks don’t even cover the amount of tasks and things I have needed to work through to get to this point in time. The Lord has had his hand in every transition and moment of this journey.

Borders opened to Japan in October and I began fundraising in November not knowing that I would hit my 55% goal (the amount I decided I needed to reach to purchase my flight tickets) by December, only one month later!!!

Crazy right?!?

I feel the Lord so strongly walking me through this process and growing my faith like never before but that hasn’t stopped me from doing what I normally do, which is to try and control or make things work in my own way or in my own timing.

Why do I always do that? 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s so funny how often I get in my own way. I have know the Lord was calling me to go to Japan since 2020. But I still would find myself wondering how it would all play out and what all would need to take place for me to be in Japan serving. I stress myself out trying to control things.

I still don’t have everything figured out and I will be honest, that continues to worry and stress me out. I have to pause, pray, repent and give it back to the Lord numerous times EVERYDAY.

It’s such a strange and unique feeling to be confident in the Lord, yet still know I struggle with doubt and a need to control.

(“Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”- Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬b)

But even with the unknowing, I trust in the One who is ALL knowing. I choose to walk even closer with Him as I walk into the unknown.

(And constantly remind myself of His faithfulness).I leave for Japan in a little over a month, which is amazing however, I am not fully funded for my 6 month trip.

Every day I have to remind myself that where the Lord guides, He provides.

The Lord works through people and it will take others, you, to partner alongside me and support me through this.

Would you pray and consider joining my sponsorship team?

This could be a one time donation or even being a monthly sponsor.

You can see from the image below that I still need to raise $6,258 to be fully funded. This $6,258 will provide me with basic necessities like housing, food and transportation while in Japan(my specific financial breakdown can be found on my website). I do not plan to get a “job” while there because I want to be able to give my time and focus solely to the church, missionaries and community of Paz Church Japan.

This means that I need all basic life expenses covered for 6 months.

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Luke 6:38

I believe that as you give you will not only help me and the missionary families I plan to be a blessing to but that you will also see the fruit of your giving returned back to you.

I also believe that your giving will have an eternal Kingdom impact.

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ ‭
